Julian Assange & Journalism Face Certain Death Unless We Organize Now!
The second phase of WikiLeaks founder and publisher, Julian Assange, begins on Sept 7, 2020. He is currently on remand in Covid-ridden Belmarsh prision in London. UN Rapporteur on Torture, Nils Melzer, has stated repeatedly that Assange has been subjected to prolonged, psychological torture. If extradited to the US, he faces 17 charges under the Espionage Act, a show trial, and 175 in prison for the 2010 publication of Collateral Murder, the Iraq/Afghan War Logs, the Gitmo Files, and Cablegate.
This would set the precedent that any journalist can be prosecuted by any country seeking retaliation for the disclosure of their crimes!
We are asking you to organize with us!

In February, Action4Assange held demonstrations and events in Washington DC and Arlington, VA during the first round of Julian’s hearing. These events we co-sponsored by Code Pink, Popular Resistance, Veterans For Peace, People’s Power Assembly, Unity4J, and the 1vs5i campaign.
We call upon you to activate the members within your respective organization for coordinated demonstrations across the globe!
Action4Assange is producing a series of teach-ins, designed to educate/bring up to date everyone concerned about the fate of journalism, human rights, and rule of law. Please help distribute this informative mini-documentary!
