Now Is The Time To Take Action! As the nation is gripped by a pandemic, protests, provocateur, and martial law we cannot allow Julian’s struggle to be forgotten. As always we encourage everyone to be peaceful and be safe, but we must continue our actions in the street.
noun: solidarity; singular proper noun: Solidarity; noun: Solidarity
- unity or agreement of feeling or action, especially among individuals with a common interest; mutual support within a group.
“factory workers voiced solidarity with the striking students”
Find your local chapter for Black Lives Matter or the Democratic Socialists of America and get involved in their protests. While you protest against organized police violence, systemic abuses of power, and complete unaccountability for government employees keep in mind this is the same system of oppression that has Julian imprisoned as well.
If you aren’t near a major city, it doesnt mean you cant protest, as we encourage everyone to engage in Decentralized Activism above all else. Being the one person in your community makes a big difference and a much larger impact than most people realize.
Hang Posters and Do Banner Drops!!
This is something we take about quite often, but counter-propaganda is very important! Light poles, street signs (on the back), NOT TREES, public fences, over passes, etc!
(Cheap towels, bed sheets or tablecloths + paint + zipties make great banners)
Action 4 Assange’s George Floyd Solidarity Posters
Action 4 Assange Posters and Posters By Bean
Find a local print shop (or do it at home) and hang them up around town.
It takes roughly an hour to hang 100 posters using staples or tape.
Amnesty International Needs To Act Now!
As the leading international organization defending human rights, Amnesty International has truly failed in defending Julian as they should. As of the latest publication Julian Assange has still failed to appear as a prisoner of conscience. Help us contact Amnesty International and demand they take action on behalf of Julian Assange.
